1. INTRODUCTION
Welcome to Reepeet's Competition Rules and Prize Policy.
Reepeet is an AI-powered music learning, performance assessment, and skill-based competition platform operated by Reepeet Nigeria Limited (“Reepeet”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).
This Policy establishes the rules governing musical competitions organised or administered through the Reepeet Platform, including participation requirements, performance assessment, scoring, rankings, winner selection, cash prizes, fair play, and dispute resolution.
Reepeet's competitions are designed to recognise and reward musical ability through structured call-and-response challenges rather than random selection or games of chance.
By entering a competition, participants agree to comply with this Policy, the applicable competition-specific rules, Reepeet's Terms of Service, and other relevant Platform policies.
2. NATURE OF REEPEET COMPETITIONS
Reepeet competitions are structured musical skill contests in which participants demonstrate their ability to reproduce or respond to musical phrases, patterns, or exercises.
The Platform currently supports competitions in the following categories:
- a. Keyboard.
- b. Guitar.
- c. Drums.
- d. Vocals.
Additional instruments, musical disciplines, and competition formats may be introduced over time.
Competitions may assess musical characteristics including pitch, rhythm, timing, accuracy, tone, expression, and other relevant performance indicators.
Performance assessments are conducted using Reepeet's AI-powered scoring technology, subject to applicable competition rules and technical review procedures.
Competition outcomes are intended to be determined by demonstrated musical skill and performance, not random draws, betting odds, or chance-based selection.
3. COMPETITION ELIGIBILITY
3.1 Minimum Age
Participation in Reepeet competitions offering cash prizes is strictly limited to individuals aged 18 years and above.
Users below 18 years of age may access eligible learning and practice features but are not permitted to participate in cash-prize competitions, even with parental or guardian consent.
3.2 Account Requirements
To participate in a cash-prize competition, a user must:
- a. Maintain a valid Reepeet account.
- b. Be at least 18 years old.
- c. Have an eligible subscription where required.
- d. Comply with the competition's published entry requirements.
- e. Provide accurate account and identity information.
- f. Meet any applicable geographical or regulatory eligibility requirements.
- g. Agree to the competition rules before participating.
3.3 Identity Verification
Reepeet may require identity and age verification before accepting competition participation or releasing cash prizes.
Verification may involve government-issued identification or other lawful methods appropriate to the level of risk.
Participants who fail to complete required verification may be ineligible to receive prizes, subject to applicable law and the published competition rules.
3.4 Restricted Participants
Reepeet may restrict participation by employees, contractors, competition administrators, scoring-system developers, or other individuals who could possess an unfair advantage or conflict of interest.
Any such restrictions shall be disclosed in the applicable competition rules.
4. COMPETITION ACCESS AND SUBSCRIPTIONS
Reepeet operates a subscription-based Platform offering music learning, practice, performance assessment, and other services.
Access to certain competitions may be included among the benefits of eligible subscription plans.
Subscription fees are charged for access to the Platform and its associated services and are not represented as wagers or stakes on competition outcomes.
Cash prizes offered directly by Reepeet are funded by the Company and are not distributed from a pool of participant wagers.
Participants cannot purchase additional scores, favourable rankings, or guaranteed competition outcomes.
Where a competition has specific eligibility requirements, these shall be communicated before entry.
Reepeet does not guarantee that a subscription will result in competition success or prize winnings.

Each competition shall be accompanied by relevant information, which may include:
- a. Competition title and description.

6. CALL-AND-RESPONSE PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS
Reepeet's competitions are based on musical call-and-response challenges.
Participants may be required to listen to a musical phrase, rhythm, melody, or other musical instruction and reproduce or respond to it using their selected instrument or voice.
Participants must follow the instructions associated with each challenge.
Depending on the competition, requirements may include:

7. AI PERFORMANCE SCORING
7.1 Assessment Criteria
Reepeet uses AI-powered technology to assess musical performances against defined criteria.
Depending on the competition, these may include:
Pitch Accuracy: The degree to which a performed note or melody matches the expected musical pitch.
Rhythmic Accuracy: The participant's ability to reproduce the required rhythmic pattern.
Timing: The precision of the performance relative to the expected tempo or timing structure.
Musical Accuracy: The overall correctness of the performed musical phrase or response.
Tone and Expression: Relevant qualitative aspects of musical delivery, where supported by the assessment system.
Different instrument categories may use different assessment criteria or weightings.
7.2 Scoring Transparency
Reepeet shall disclose the applicable scoring criteria and relevant competition-specific rules before participation.
Where numerical scores are used, the Platform may display scores, rankings, or performance feedback to participants.
Reepeet may protect confidential technical details of its proprietary scoring technology, provided this does not prevent participants from understanding the material criteria used to determine competition outcomes.
7.3 Scoring Consistency
Reepeet shall take reasonable steps to ensure that comparable performances are evaluated using consistent scoring standards within the same competition.
7.4 Technical Limitations
AI performance assessment may be affected by:
- a. Microphone quality.

Reepeet shall maintain reasonable procedures for investigating material scoring errors and technical irregularities.
7.5 Review of Scores
Where a participant raises a credible scoring concern, Reepeet may review relevant performance records, assessment results, and technical information.
Where necessary, an authorised reviewer may conduct a human-assisted assessment or technical investigation.
Verified scoring errors may be corrected in accordance with the applicable competition rules.
8. PERFORMANCE SUBMISSIONS AND ATTEMPTS
Participants must submit performances using the approved submission process.
The number of permitted attempts shall be determined by the rules of each competition.
Where multiple attempts are allowed, the competition rules shall specify whether the highest score, most recent score, first valid submission, or another disclosed method determines the participant's ranking.
Participants must not attempt to bypass submission limits through multiple accounts, technical manipulation, or other unauthorised means.
Late submissions may be rejected unless the applicable rules provide otherwise.
Reepeet may invalidate submissions affected by verified technical failures or rule violations.
9. RANKINGS AND WINNER SELECTION
Winners shall be determined by the published skill-based assessment criteria applicable to each competition.
Depending on the competition format, rankings may be based on:
- a. Overall performance scores.

- c. Performance accuracy.
- d. Completion of required competition stages.
- e. Other predetermined and disclosed skill-based criteria.
Reepeet shall not select winners through undisclosed random processes.

Where two or more participants achieve equivalent scores, the applicable competition rules shall specify the tie-breaking method.
Tie-breaking procedures must be objective, consistently applied, and disclosed before the competition begins.
9.2 Results Verification
Reepeet may conduct reasonable verification of provisional results before announcing final winners.
Verification may include reviewing submissions, identifying duplicate accounts, checking eligibility, and investigating suspected manipulation.
9.3 Final Results
Competition results become final following completion of the applicable verification and appeal procedures.
Reepeet may correct verified errors but shall not arbitrarily alter valid competition results.

Where practicable, a disputed scoring or disqualification decision should be reviewed by an authorised person who was not solely responsible for the original decision.
