1. INTRODUCTION

Reepeet is an AI-powered music learning, performance assessment, and skill-based competition platform operated by Reepeet Nigeria Limited (“Reepeet”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).

Our mission is to create a welcoming, supportive, inclusive, and fair environment where individuals can learn music, develop their abilities, demonstrate their skills, connect with other musicians, and participate in meaningful musical challenges.

These Community Guidelines & Fair Play Policy (“Policy”) establish the standards of conduct expected from all users of the Reepeet Platform.

The Policy applies to learners, musicians, teachers, competition participants, organisations, and any other individuals accessing Reepeet's services.

By using the Platform, users agree to comply with these Guidelines, Reepeet's Terms of Service, and other applicable policies.

2. OUR COMMUNITY PRINCIPLES

Reepeet's community is built on five fundamental principles:

Respect: Every user deserves to be treated with dignity, regardless of age, gender, nationality, background, musical experience, or skill level.

Fairness: Musical achievements and competition outcomes should reflect genuine ability and honest participation.

Integrity: Users must represent themselves and their performances truthfully.

Safety: The Platform must remain a safe environment for learning, creativity, and interaction, particularly for younger users.

Positive Learning: Feedback, competition, and community interaction should encourage improvement rather than intimidation or hostility.

All users are expected to uphold these principles.

3. RESPECTFUL CONDUCT

Users must communicate and interact respectfully.

The following conduct is prohibited:

  • a. Harassment, bullying, intimidation, or threats.
  • b. Hate speech or discriminatory abuse.
  • c. Insulting or humiliating other users because of their musical ability or performance.
  • d. Sexual harassment or unwanted sexual communication.
  • e. Deliberate humiliation, targeted ridicule, or abusive comments.
  • f. Repeated unwanted contact or stalking.
  • g. Encouraging violence, self-harm, or unlawful activities.
  • h. Publishing another person's private information without authorisation.

Constructive criticism and respectful musical feedback are permitted and encouraged.

Disagreements should be expressed professionally and without personal attacks.

4. CHILD SAFETY AND PROTECTION OF MINORS

Reepeet supports music learning for users of different ages, including children.

We are committed to maintaining appropriate safeguards for minors.

4.1 Age-Appropriate Access

Users under 18 may access eligible learning and practice features, subject to applicable parental consent requirements and Platform restrictions.

Only users aged 18 years and above may participate in cash-prize competitions.

4.2 Prohibited Conduct Involving Minors

The following activities are strictly prohibited:

  • a. Sexual exploitation or grooming of minors.
  • b. Requests for inappropriate images, recordings, or personal information from minors.

4.4 Parental and Guardian Responsibility

Parents and legal guardians are encouraged to supervise children's use of Reepeet and review their learning activities and interactions.

Reepeet may apply additional restrictions to children's accounts where necessary for safety.

5. FAIR PLAY IN MUSICAL COMPETITIONS

Reepeet competitions are designed to evaluate genuine musical ability through structured performance challenges.

Participants are expected to compete honestly and comply with the applicable competition rules.

Reepeet shall communicate material restrictions before participation.

6. AI-GENERATED AND MANIPULATED CONTENT

Reepeet recognises that artificial intelligence can support music education and creative development.

However, AI must not be used to misrepresent a participant's musical ability or manipulate competition outcomes.

Users must not:

An appeal should identify the decision being challenged and provide relevant supporting information.

Reepeet shall consider appeals fairly and within a reasonable period.

Where practicable, a reviewer who was not solely responsible for the original decision should assess significant disputed enforcement actions.

Reepeet may uphold, modify, or reverse a decision based on the evidence and applicable rules.

Competition-specific appeals shall also be governed by the Competition Rules and Prize Policy.

Nothing in this Policy restricts statutory consumer rights or lawful access to regulatory and judicial remedies.

18. PRIVACY AND CONFIDENTIALITY

Reepeet shall process personal information collected through reports, investigations, and enforcement activities in accordance with its Privacy & Cookie Policy.
